Perfection is an exercise in futility

Perfection is an infinite goal based on worldly normed standards that
are forever transitory. Normed standards of perfection are constantly
changing with the changes in society’s fluctuating ideals, beauty, power,
economics, intellect, and pop cultural shifts. These changes are too numerous
and fleeting to follow as goals to perfect. These are goals of futility.
Instead, focus on the achievement of goals that you create. You are
more likely to achieve goals grounded in your control and motivation.
You can never see the top when you climb the mountain of perfection
because the peak continues to grow with the changing standards of
perfection in the world.
So, beware when climbing a mountain of perfection with no end.
You will spend endless time climbing due to outside influences. Instead,
it is best to climb a mountain of achievement that embodies your internal
goals. The mountain of achievement is finite because it represents your
set internal goals with coordinates, duration, and a measurable peak.
